The meeting of Wine and Words Book Club was held at Jodi’s and we enjoyed hors ‘d oeuvres and peach Aperol spritzer cocktails. They were delicious! The book for the month was Remarkably Bright Creatures, by Shelby Van Pelt, which is a wonderful story about a woman who befriends an octopus.

Bey Blades…I’m not sure what this was about, so found this online…So What are Bey Blades?
To celebrate Linda’s news their family is expecting their first grandchild, we each presented Linda with a few of our favorite children’s books. It was fun to hear about what books have been special in each member’s relationships with their children and grandchildren.
It was suggested we read The 10,000 Doors of January this summer.
