Astoria – Kay – historical fiction about Astor sending traders out to establish settlements. Astoria first settlement on the west coast.

The Big Burn by Egan (Shadow Catcher) – Linda. About Gifford Pinchot, chief forester for Teddy Rosevelt. Story tells about battling a gigantic forest fire in 1910 in Washington.
