The March meeting of the Wine and Words Book Club was at Linda’s. Karen, Jodi, Sandie, Linda and Kay attended.

We decided to change the meeting time to 4:30pm on Tuesdays from now on.

The book for this month is How to Know a Person by David Brooks. Jodi said “A good book that makes you realize it takes a lot of work to know a person.” Sandie enjoyed reading the opening in the book, describing the Jewish Family’s way of interacting.

Linda suggested the following books:

The Marlow Murder Club, by Robert Thurgood, author of the Murder in Paradise stories.

Breathe, by James Nestor

The Premonition, by Michael Lewis

Seven Husbands

Karen talked about, Next Year in Havanna, the first book in Chanel Cleeton’s series, then read When we Left Cuba.

Cobalt Red – Kay- about lithium and cobalt, etc. that are in all of the things that we use.

Kay read three books about the Language of Flowers
