The March Wine and Words Book Club meeting was held at Cindy’s and everyone but Karen was able to attend.

We discussed the book of the month, James, by Percival Everett. Everyone who had read it enjoyed the reimagining of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, told from the perspective of Jim.

Kay brought  Taste, Fly Girls, and Light Eaters.

We enjoyed a lively discussion about recycling, due to the new requirement to recycle food waste. This led to a discussion about growing our own food, which led us to a conversation about our government changing regulations.  Which led to Cindy saying, “I hope it involves guns.”
