The April meeting of the Wine and Words Book Club was held at Linda’s and everyone attended but Karen. Linda served pizzas from Trader Joe’s.

The book for April was Tisha. Jody didn’t finish it because she didn’t connect with the character. Cindy liked it due to her family’s history in Alaska. Jan enjoyed a predicable read and it was recommended by Village Books.

Cindy read How Penguins Saved Veronica, by Hazel Prior.

Sandie is going to read The Hidden Power of the Five Hearts, recommended by her sister.

Cindy and Jan read Two Old Women and enjoyed it.

Kay handed out a flyer about  the Senior Center, which is moving to a new building off Guide Meridian, hopefully in about a year and a half.

The next meeting will be at Kay’s. The book for May is No Two Persons, by Erin Bauermeister.
